Air Conditioning and Ventilation System of Two Negative Pressure Cubicles. The facility belongs to N (Negative Pressure N) pressure class. It is appropriate for the care of individuals who have been exposed to PBX threats and for patients suffering from infectious diseases, which are transmitted through droplets.
The system consists of a Centralized air-to-air air-conditioning unit, Plug Ventilators, HEPA13 Absolute Filters, Prefilters and Bag Fillers, Cold, Hot and Post-Heat Elements. The Unit’s Automation System, through pressure sensors and suitable electronic controllers, acts on speed regulators that control the supply and discharge of air within certain limits. It keeps the air supply stable, regardless of the filters pollutivity, by controlling the flow rate through the Inverter to the supply ventilators. Furthermore, it keeps the negative pressure stable by controlling the pressure of the antechamber, compared to the hospital’s outer corridor. This is achieved by acting on the Inverter of the discharge ventilator. The negative pressure is displayed on the differential pressure sensor screen. In case of negative pressure loss below the desired set point, an alarm is given with a light on the anteroom and on the outer corridor. Each chamber has the ability to independently adjust the needed temperature, which is achieved by the analog triode control on each post-heat element.
