In Heating, Cooling and Ventilation Systems we apply Energy Enhancement Technologies for Outdoor Buildings. Most residential buildings are heated by Oil Central Heating and cooled by Divided Type Units (Split Units).
AIR CONDITIONING
For Energy Enhancement it is recommended to install High or Low Temperature Heat Pumps. Heat Pumps, according to a study by the National Technical University of Athens (2016), have the lowest cost of useful heat energy in €/kWth, compared to all heating systems (see Chart-1).

HOT WATER PRODUCTION
Hot Water Production is one of the most important energy consumption factors in residential buildings.
The installation of the Solar Water Heater in combination with the necessary automation agenda leads to significant energy savings, which can reach up to 80%.
FRAMES & GLAZINGS REPLACEMENT
Replacing old window frames with modern, high-energy frames leads to a reduction in energy consumption up to 25%, as well as to a significant reduction of noise inside the building.
Replacing Glass with new, double-energy and low-energy glasses leads to energy savings up to 40%.
TERRACE INSULATION
Interventions to improve the thermal transmittance on building terraces and roofs reduce energy consumption by up to 40%.
For the Terrace Insulation, CONVENTIONAL INSULATION and INVERTED INSULATION are used.
The Conventional Insulation works are as follows:
The Inverted Insulation works are as follows:
THERMOPRESS
Insulation of the external surface of the buildings is a highly efficient intervention, leading to a reduction in the energy consumption of air conditioning systems up to 60%.
